To Inspire To Achieve

The Xtreme Everest Expedition, Jordan Wylie MBE and all of the project partners are proud to support the Army Cadet Charitable Trust UK (ACCT UK) – a charity dedicated to giving young people life-changing opportunities through adventure and personal challenge.

Supporting the Next Generation

ACCT UK is dedicated to giving every young person the chance to develop and achieve through the opportunities offered by Army Cadet activities. With your support, we can remove financial barriers and open the door to experiences that might otherwise be out of reach.

From sports, music, and first aid training to Duke of Edinburgh awards, adventurous training, overseas expeditions, and battlefield tours, these opportunities help young people build skills that last a lifetime.

Adult volunteers also benefit, gaining valuable qualifications that strengthen leadership and skills.

With ACCT UK’s support every young person, regardless of background or circumstance, can access transformative experiences through the Army Cadets that help them build confidence, resilience and self-belief.

These values lie at the heart of Jordan’s own adventures… believing that by testing our limits, we discover what we’re truly capable of.

A Long-Term Commitment

Xtreme Everest marks Jordan Wylie’s third year supporting ACCT UK as his chosen charity. Through his expeditions and fundraising initiatives, he has raised over £90,000 to date.  Every pound helps unlock new opportunities for Army Cadets aged 11–17 across the UK, empowering them to lead, achieve and thrive.

The partnership reflects a shared commitment to creating meaningful opportunities that empower young people through challenge, leadership and adventure.

Building Confidence Through Challenge

ACCT UK opens doors for young people within the Army Cadets by providing opportunities they might not otherwise experience.

Through outdoor challenge, teamwork and personal development, cadets become more resilient, more confident and more capable, equipping them with the mindset and skills needed to tackle life’s obstacles head on.

Support Jordan’s Challenge

You can be part of Xtreme Everest by supporting Jordan’s fundraising for ACCT UK. Every donation, large or small, will help fund adventure training that inspires the next generation of young leaders.

Adventure training like caving, mountaineering, climbing, mountain biking, and paddle sports (kayak, open canoeing, stand-up paddle board) offers proven benefits for physical, mental, and personal development, taking young people outside their comfort zone, fostering key skills such as resilience, leadership, and teamwork.

Your support could help:

  • Send cadets on adventurous training expeditions that build confidence, resilience and teamwork
  • Provide specialist equipment to make activities accessible to all young people
  • Offer financial assistance so no young person misses out due to cost or circumstance
  • Fund adult volunteer training so they can support more adventures in their local area

Together, we can support young people to become more resilient, more confident and more capable, so they can tackle life’s obstacles head-on and prepare for an ambitious and productive future.

“Jordan Wylie is our largest individual fundraiser by a huge margin, but he adds so much more in a way that cannot be quantified or measured, yet which definitely has a huge value. It is that his media reach both social and mainstream is much greater than ours, thus raising our national profile, which is as valuable as the sums he has raised”
